I consider it a duty to my license that I help people permanently exit the justice system, by helping them create a life that is incompatible with return. I believe that, if we start by equipping clinicians with passionate and engaging material, they can build the knowledge and skills needed to guide their clients through the process of becoming prosocial members of society. I further believe that, by providing the general public with an accurate representation of our current legal system, we can increase advocacy for change and overall rehabilitation for our clients.

 

In pursuit of this, I will be offering educational videos, which can be found on the banner at the top of this page: 

1. I intend to create monthly** CEUs for therapists in the forensic field. As it is my line of work, I will often look at how we can improve treatment for sex offenders. ​

I'm brilliant, quick-witted, and a little unorthodox, but I'm also passionate about the work that I do and intend to do it to my fullest capability. I hope you'll come along for the ride. 

 

​*I don’t know how much it matters to people, but I solemnly swear I do not use AI in the creative/educational process. I read like 15 scientific journal articles to make one slideshow, make the whole slideshow myself, and enjoy every second of it. I would never let AI take all the fun. I use AI to answer questions about reference formatting and the like, but not the “fun” stuff. I use it as a more sophisticated thesaurus with prompts such as, “What’s a two-syllable word that would be akin to asynchronicity?” I also use it for image creation/editing.
